Avivit Bar-Yosef is an Israeli-American filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating with a BA in Film Studies from The American University of Paris, she moved to New York where she has freelanced extensively in the independent film industry. Among other credits, she was the production coordinator for Eliza Hittman’s Sundance hit Beach Rats, production manager on the film Who We Are Now starring Julianne Nicholson, and a co-producer on indie Giants Being Lonely which premiered at the Venice Film Festival. In addition to her work in production, she assisted writer-director Sean Gullette with his debut feature Traitors and served as the office manager for Darren Aronofsky’s Protozoa Pictures for over four years. She has written, directed and produced five short films that have played at festivals in New York and abroad.
